Why PlanetSafe

The same compliance. Without the plastic.

Every retest cycle, every tag on every appliance in your workplace is cut off and thrown away. Across Australian workplaces, almost all of those tags are single-use plastic, and almost all of them go to landfill.

PlanetSafe tags are made from durable wood-pulp material instead. Same durability in service. Fully compliant with AS/NZS 3760 labelling requirements. No extra cost — biodegradable is our standard, not an upsell.

Quick answers.

It depends on your environment: every 3 months on construction sites, 6 months in healthcare and hospitality kitchens, 6–12 months in hospitality generally, and 12 months in offices, retail, schools and childcare. AS/NZS 3760:2022 sets the intervals by environment type.

Full frequency guide

WHS regulations require employers to ensure electrical equipment is safe. Testing to AS/NZS 3760 is the recognised way to demonstrate that duty of care, and many insurers and auditors expect it.

More detail

From $2.10 to $3.50 per tag ex GST depending on volume, plus a $120 service fee per visit. Full pricing is published on our pricing page.
