About these terms

These terms apply to the use of this website and to electrical testing services provided by PlanetSafe Test & Tag (ABN 93 691 550 660). Engaging us for services constitutes acceptance of these terms, unless a separate written agreement applies.

Services

We provide in-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment to AS/NZS 3760:2022, and related services including RCD testing, emergency and exit light testing to AS/NZS 2293.2, and microwave leakage testing. Testing identifies the condition of equipment at the time of test; it does not guarantee equipment against subsequent failure or misuse.

Quotes and pricing

Published prices are ex GST. Quotes are based on the item counts and site information you provide; final invoicing reflects the items actually tested. A $120 service fee applies per visit. Our price match policy applies to current written quotes for equivalent AS/NZS 3760:2022 scope.

Site access and scheduling

You agree to provide safe access to the areas and equipment being tested and a site contact on the day. Visits rescheduled with reasonable notice incur no fee.

Failed equipment

Items that fail testing are tagged, reported to your site contact and removed from service in accordance with AS/NZS 3760:2022. Repair or replacement of failed items is a separate, optional service. Responsibility for keeping failed items out of service rests with the equipment owner.

Reports and records

Compliance reports and asset registers are provided for your organisation's use in audits, insurance reviews and WHS assessments. We retain test histories and can supply them on request.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the services is limited to resupply of the services or the cost of resupply. We hold public liability insurance; certificates of currency are available on request.
