What does microwave leakage testing involve?
Using a calibrated leakage detector, we measure microwave emission around the door seal, hinges and casing while the unit operates under load. Units exceeding the 5mW/cm² safety threshold are flagged for replacement. The result is recorded per unit in your compliance report — $15 per unit, added to any test and tag visit.
Who needs it: commercial kitchens, hotels, aged care, childcare centres, schools, and any workplace with staff room microwaves — particularly units older than a few years or in heavy daily use.
